Fly-in/Drive-in Picnic with Airport Safety Seminar
Tuesday, June 28, 2022, 6 pm at Canandaigua Airport
Register now to join the Canandaigua Airport for an extra special Fly-in/Drive-in evening event.
The event will be held in the airport’s T-hangars, unit #24. Start the night with an outdoor cookout with meats supplied by Artisan Meats. The picnic will be followed by an Airport Safety Seminar featuring Norm Isler, FAA Safety Team Representative and Northeast Ambassador for the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). Representatives from the local Flight Standards District Offices (FSDO) will also be in attendance to answer your questions.
Safety Topic: Non-Towered Airport Operations
Learn about how to be a safer and more efficient pilot while operating in the non-towered environment. The safety presentation, “Non-Towered Airport Operations,” will provide helpful information for all pilots who fly in and out of non-towered airports. Information will include FAR and AIM requirements, “pattern etiquette,” and more.
